My final bow

Today was the last day I spent with the girls and parents of Glass City Synchro. I'm guessing everyone, myself included, knew at the back of our heads that today would come soon but never really quite faced up to it, until tonight.

Who would have thought.

It's been a year and a half. And it was a good season.

We fought together and worked as a team, tasted hardship and seen success. And just when you've began to be able to read each other, understand one another's thoughts without words, it gets hard when you're forced to walk away from it all.

To the moms and girls at GCS, thank you. For everything. I know I will never meet another group of people so genuinely loving and concerned for one another as you guys.
