And we have touchdown

Being the oh-so-lazy person that I am, I've been having too much fun to blog about coming home. But there's no place I'd rather be. =)

Tuesday
11.30pm: Arrive at Changi Airport. Went for supper with the family and Joel Lim at Cha Can Tang, our favourite late night supper place for whenever anyone comes home from a holiday. But because all my sister and I did on the loooooooong flight home was eat, I just had a drink and Bo Luo Bao.

Wednesday
Lunch: A belated Mother's Day celebration with grandma. My brother got to miss school for this.

Tea: Coffee and papaya with Cheryl Teo. The joke now is that Slamuryl Phitrol has been (very unsuccessfully) trying to arrange outings on days when Cheryl is also available. But it only takes me one try to get Cheryl out to meet up with us. hahaha. Miss Cheryl Teo, we had a very gooooood long catch-up session without the boys. I miss going to school with her. When we would both just daze off in the middle of bio, and she would offer me little odd sweets she'll buy from i-don't-know-where, and I would scribble all over her notes. Gossipping was also sooo much easier then.

Dinner: Once the boys arrived and Cheryl had to leave, we decided to head over to Brewertz for dinner. Did you know, they don't charge service charge there? You have to tip them. And after today's experience, I think all restaurants should convert to the tipping system (refer to Friday). Dinner was good but it ended at such an odd time, it was too late to catch a movie and I didn't feel up to drinking or clubbing. So, Saylin brought us to Kent Ridge Park, Singapore's version of the Lover's Cliff. Almost every couple there were making out. And I was there with two boys, such killjoys! haha. But it is quite a romantic spot. Too bad I was falling asleep towards the end. I would have loved to stay a little longer.

Thursday
A japanese feast with the family. An endless flow of sashimi! Yum!

Friday
Accompanied my mom to fetch grandma and then had a Korean dinner at Square2. The food was so-so but the non-existent service was the pits. My mom was soo mad. Such a vast difference from Brewertz. Everyone there was so friendly and attentive. Here, nobody could be bothered with us and even after my mom pointed out that they have horrible service, nobody bothered apologizing. Met up with Gan to pass him his iphone. He's going Europe for a whole mnonth! I'm so jealous.

So tomorrow I'm leaving for a family trip! To Bintang Club Med, the same place I managed to lose a toe-nail. hahaha. 5.30am, argg.. Also, I have eaten so much the past few days. After many months of not eating well, feasting like this has give me a not-so-little pot belly. How to wear bikini when I go Bintang!
