daylight savings

i hate daylight savings. before, i could wake up when the sky was bright and the sun was shining and say, "hey! i'm still early! it's still seven-ish!" but today, i had to wake up at seven and it was still dark out!

speaking of which, ain't i the luckiest girl today? i had a special morning call this morning. all the way from singapore. from my parents. haha. i had to stumble out of bed, knock into the wall on the way out of my room (it was still dark out remember??), tiptoe over the mess i left behind in the living room last night (all cleared up now) just to get to the phone. yes i only have one house phone and it's in my living room. student on a budget here! haha. i have no furniture in my house too! only one little floor rocking chair, a tv set. even my bed's not a real bed! it's those blow up kind. haha. so anyway, when i got to the phone, the first thing i said after hello was "are you crazy??" i'm sorry. haha. forgive me cos i didn't get ANY sleep last night. spring break, as with all holidays, messed up my biological clock. so i was super grogy when i woke up this morning. but thank you mom and dad! they were worried i forgot about the daylight savings and was gonna late for class.

so there we have it. three weeks earlier than it should happen, half the clocks in school on daylight savings. the other half not. i getting little heart attacks when i look at the different clocks, for fear of missing class. all in an effort to cut down the amount of energy we use. (but people say it's gonna end up costing us more money!!)
