they're upgrading the old rundown car manufactoring factory at upper bukit timah.that's where the japs and british signed the surrender papers.it's gonna go from dull grey to sterilised white.it's disgusting.the old famous yeo hup seng factory has also become a tight-spaced condo with the windows of most of the apartment facing the new highway.even my own bedroom is currently undergoing massive construction.well not massive, but still a pretty large-scale thing.
meet my sis,the contractor, furnisher and deco-supervisor.she's the one who even suggested this major change to my bedroom.what is she gonna do?she's turning my room into a walk-in wardrobe.cool aye.but then that would mean she and i would have to share bedrooms.the big question comes.what if we fight?we still do by the way.she figures that we only fight over clothes and shoes but since the bangkok trip, which is the sole reason why we need a walk-in wardrobe cos our individual rooms have no more space to put our clothes,we decided to share everything.we have an agreement that there will be no arguing over clothes, accessories and shoes.so all i've got to do during this extreme make over is nod my head in agreement to where stuff should go and shake my head if i think it's awful.pretty easy for me right.we'll see how it turns out.thing is,if my room's gonna become a walk-in wardrobe,i'll need to purchase curtains stat.cos my room have these two huge windows which overlook the whole stairwell, part of the living room, the computer area and my brother's room.so if we're gonna change in my room,well..i'd say curtains would be a necessity.
just wonder how long it would be before my sis goes down to actually measuring up the room and buying new cupboards..
