Paradise lost

From Navy barracks to busy eateries, black and white history to sophisticated restaurants.

Today was my first time back at Dempsey since I've been back. Now I'm sad. It's soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo overrun by people, it's disgusting. Pity. Dempsey is no longer the quiet, tranquil, my favourite-est (Slamuryl Phitrol's BnJ's sessions, breakfast with Py..) hangout place it used to be last year, BEFORE WORD GOT AROUND.

After Sat night dinner with the Tang's and Uncle Benn (tonight's choice: Temasek Club - This place has changed too. The drive in is no longer as 'adventurous'. Biopolis has taken over Portsdown! Noooooooo..), we headed over to BnJ's for ice-cream, and to celebrate Joelle's bday. The minute I got out of the car, I wanted to turn around and go home. How can anyone still enjoy the Hill with that many people around? The noise is intolerable, the crowd is insufferable, the place is just too darn busy.

This is why you should never share a good thing.
