Dear TL,

"Exquisite gems are only befitting of royals, not commoners." That's just a big fat excuse and totally irrelevant! Can you for once in your life not be so pig-headed and just be honest about what you want and how you really feel? You say you remember your promise, so why aren't you keeping it?
