Here's to you..

It's the end of an era. Ms Kon Mei Leen is no longer principal of MGS. This may not be fresh news but it's still news to me.

I always remembered Ms Kon as one who always had the perfect posture, always exuding pride and dignity, regardless of whether she was sitting, walking or just standing around. EVERYONE always slowed down to greet her when passing her in the corridors and she always stopped to talk. Us MEP girls would know cos she would always find us loitering but she never scolded us. Instead, she would stop for a short chat and then very kindly "suggest that we headed to the library to study". She was always walking around school, checking in on classes. Well, the one place you would never find her was the canteen.

I went back to the MGS website. Saw all my teachers. I'm surprised at all the emotions that were stirred up instantaneously. I miss MGS. Very very much.
