Singapore Food Fest

The lack of updates is pretty much a reflection of how I've been feeling the past few weeks. Too lazy to say anything.

BUT! I did have a memorable weekend thanks to the SSA at UMich. It was their Singapore Food Fest. I'm torn. It was really good going, cos after so long, a little piece of home was really nice. Bak kut teh, curry chicken, chicken rice, tau suan (that one looked a odd shade of bright yellow so I kind of steered cleared from that one), ice milo (!! I was downing cups and cups of that !!). But the night had me begging for more! Homesickness overwhealmed me the next few days. Argg.. I met Izzy there too! I didn't know she was in Michigan! What's more I met her right before I left in July at Taka! Small world. Plus, one of her good friends used to train with me at APSC, but I admitted to her that I could not recall who she was. I felt kind of bad but I cannot lie. My theory about my Long-Term Memory being able to only store five-years worth of memories is true. Still, I cannot forget to thank wonderful Eugene for driving all the way down from IU to come pick us up!! My sister's blog has photos for you to check out. I'm too lazy to go upload them.

Check out the long list of movies I want to watch this month! (mind you, they're in no particular order)
1. Across the Universe
2. Lion for Lambs (Meryl Streep! Robert Redford! Not too happy about the Cruise fella though)
3. Martian Child (Must watch!! John Cusack!!)
4. American Gangster (not a fan of Russell Crowe, Denzel has his moments, but the story looks way interesting)
5. The Bee Movie (It's an animation from the makers of Cars and the Incredibles!!)
6. Michael Clayton (George Clooney! Need I say more??)
7. Elizabeth The Golden Age (I'm a sucker for these kinds of historical films)
8. Things We Lost In The Fire
I'm still a little unsure about Rendition and Gone Baby Gone.

Anyone looking for a new snack to munch on? SNYDER'S of Hanover Lightly Seasoned Honey Mustard and Onion Nibblers! I'm hooked!

The weather's turning chilly and I'm starting to miss the sun.
