three little monsters

so i saw the photos from ndp and darn it, i'm missing out on something great this year. the detailed description from bobo and my secret e-pal (reply soon yeah!) only helped make me even more jealous. happy belated birthday singapore! terrible waste i couldn't celebrate it with you this year and the many years to come.

monsters have invaded my life. eating all my food, leaving me with nothing. sapping me of all my energy until i've surrendered and given up all forms of defends and resigned to letting them have their way. they leave a tremendous mess in their wake, leaving my sister and i to clear up after them and they demand to be entertained at all of their waking hours. they never nap. they run about and worst of all, they argue and terrorise each other and anyone around them. anything they want, they want it NOW. anything the other monsters have, they one a bigger one too, NOW. i've tried to hide, to take cover but because i'm living with their grandfather, there is only so much i can do to escape their evil clutches. (actually not all of them are that bad. it's the eldest monster that is the evil-est. and the most annoying one.)

BUT!

tomorrow, i am moving! give me a second while i scream loudly for joy. whoo hoo! tomorrow, i will be living it up in my own apartment. finally. moving back to civilisation. grandfather doesn't have any news channels on his tv. only cartoons and taiwan news. so the past two weeks, my sis and i have been living on cartoons. ask me to sing the theme song of the fairly oddparents, or spongebob squarepants, or drake&josh, or zoey 101, or jimmy neutron. i've probably also watched every single spongebob squarepants episode there is till date. there was a whole channel dedicated the the yellow fellow. while i do love my cartoons (go timmy turner!), i think this is a little much.

so my past few days have been packed with packing and babysitting. school's gonna start in a week. i haven't gotten my books yet. have to add that to my imaginary to-do list. other than that, here's to the start of a new school year!
