welcome home me!

the eagle has landed!!

whoohoo! man it feels good to be home, albeit the heat is killing me. i forgot how humid and hot singapore was. the past couple of days have just been a nightmare. packing, moving and the horrible long flight home but the sweetness of just being back more than makes up for everything.

i can't say how much i miss my family. my dad, my mom, my sister and my brother (HE GREW!! HE'S SOOO TALL NOW. omgoodness.) which actually leaves me feeling very guilty. but that's a story for another time. i'm doing all the little stuff that i would normally never do had i not left the country. going to the wet market with my mom (no. 1 what i would soo never do), having breakfast with her at the market (they were filming a new chinese show at dover market i could only recognise one of them, something-shen, the gong-fu fella). i know full well that the next three months are just going to fly right by me and you can be sure i'm going to max my time here.

but my three months here is going to be interrupted by lots of little trips. first is a family vacation to bangkok, flying this sat. (can't believe i'm willing to get on a plane again so quickly.) then a trip to cambodia. going to teach women there english so they can get back into society. (my mom's going for it, she's trying to rope my sis and i in. i've got my reservations.) then there's a eating trip to penang with my family and a family of family friends. haha. these bunch of the friends are the BEST people to go with on a eating spree. and they're tonnes fun. and a last un-confirmed taiwan trip! oooo, i'm packed. haha. but you know what, if there's one thing i've learnt, i've got it good. real good. and i'm going to enjoy every moment of it.
