winter window shopping

my mom, dad and i had lunch at a chinese restaurant at Padang Palace today after church. it was suppose to be quite good but the food was soooo bland! don't bother patronising that restaurant. it's totally not worth your money. and not say it's cheap. you pay about the same as you would at crystal jade. the only dish i liked was the salt and pepper beancurd. because the food was so disgusting, we had a lot of leftovers. so when mom wanted to pay up, the waitress was like, "oh i better clear for you first cos if manager see, he'll charge you for wastage." my mom turned red. she said, "you dare charge me extra? not like i had any repeat orders. i just order one of each and if your food tastes horrible, why should i pay you to force the food down my throat? are you kidding me?" the waitress kept quiet. the bill came up $78.84, no wastage charge.

after lunch, we went window shopping for winter stuff today at suntec. i tell you my mom's gonna have me looking like a boy when i get to the US. i found so many sweet cardigans and sweaters but instead she shows me sweatshirts and pullovers and big thick guy shirts. she even picked out this jacket with a nice print but unflattering cut. i looked fat. (which reminds me, i have tonnes of weight to lose by nov). lucky thing i was with my mom. so i could pick and choose what i wanted. i'm gonna miss spending time with my family. i think i will get homesick. the last time i went to korea on my own for training, after three weeks, i was crying already.gosh.

project superstar happened at suntec today. i wonder what it's like for the judges and hosts when they're standing backstage preparing for the show. they were all so serious getting prepped up and all. only that guy (don't know his name) who was in the superhost show was smiling away at everyone. i think he looks quite cute. i think he's the one doing the channel U show Say I Do. love that show! every guy should watch it! always makes me cry!!
